Talk to people, not at them.
You can disagree strongly and still treat someone with respect. Explain your reasoning, ask questions and share sources when making factual claims.
- No personal attacks, threats or intimidation.
- No violence, vandalism or encouragement of illegal activity.
- Do not knowingly spread demonstrably false information. Correct mistakes openly.
- Respect privacy. Do not share private addresses, contact details or sensitive wildlife locations.
- Describe personal observations as observations. A report is not proof of a scientific conclusion.
- Organisations and experts must not claim verification they have not received.
